Chiten
ABOUT
This is Motoi Miura's masterpiece, a bold reworking of Russian playwright Chekhov's masterpiece. The excesses of life are transformed directly into momentum and fill the air. The world's most physical static drama.

Message from artist / creator
The works of Chiten, where the storyline is deconstructed and deviates from realism, are often dismissed as “difficult” or “unfamiliar. After seeing a play, I have heard some audience members say, “I couldn’t take my eyes off it, but I can’t put into words what I saw,” or “It would be rude to give silly impressions. At THATRE for ALL, where you can experience the work in a different way than in the theater, we hope that you will enjoy Chiten’s chaotic stage in a more relaxed environment, where you can watch it over and over again, as if you were listening to music or looking at a painting.
